A Weekend Off

Last weekend was one of those rare weekends I had no agility shows, no 1-2-1 training and no group training; we went shopping instead.

We probably only go shopping for clothes and house hold bits twice a year. However, when we go we enjoy ourselves. We have a good spend up on things we need, things we think we need and things we probably don't need but they take our fancy anyway. It was good fun, but I wouldn't want to do it every weekend - I couldn't afford it.

The dogs didn't suffer from our shopping spree they had some nice long walks, a bit of training in the field and nice cuddles in the evening. Even Devo is a cuddly boy, although a bit of a fidget.

We've got GT staying at the moment while Greg & Laura are away training in USA. She really settles in well with our dogs. She makes herself at home as soon as she arrives, you wouldn't believe what a cheeky madam she can be.

Devo's latest game is 'bed surfing' its a bit like surf boarding. Basically you lie on a dog bed, preferably a quilt type, hold on tight to a tuggie, dig all four feet in and get dragged around the kitchen at full speed - get fun. He loves it. I've attached a little video we took, it's not great quality but it gives you an idea of this new sport [put the sound on for that added thrill]. Do you reckon it'll catch on!
