Winning and Inspiring others

Agility Team GB keeps me busy all of year round and I have to say for most of the time it's exciting, challenging and very rewarding. We've just announced the 2015 squad and I guess the realisation for these handlers is just sinking in.

The next few months will be an exciting time for them.  They have all worked hard to get to this stage. Lets not forget winning championship classes, Crufts singles and other events of that type is no easy task in itself. This is all good preparation for the two international events we'll be attending next year.

For the Coaching Team and myself as one piece of work finishes another starts. We're now putting the final stages on the activities we'll be doing over the squad preparation period that starts in January and runs through to May.

Keep an eye out for the Performance Weekend schedule which will be published in the next few weeks. This event will be held at Lincolnshire Show ground in conjunction with LAE show.  We have an international judge booked to provide FCI style competitions over the weekend and we're opening up the Sunday classes to more grades, so a wider group of handlers can experience these FCI style courses. This is a great opportunity to be 'spotted' by the Coaching Team.

Congratulations to everyone who has been called up and thank you to everyone else who submitted points this year. For anyone who didn't get called, please continue winning and inspiring others who work hard to reach the top of their sport.
