Gearing up for Crufts

Last weekend Karen's sister and brother-in-law Steve came to visit. Steve's mission was to help control the rabbit population that are gradually destroying our field! The plan is to cut their numbers down and then fence the field to keep them out.

We're now doing a bit more agility training on the rabbit free bit which is great. We've bought a set of rubber contact equipment too which will be arriving after Crufts so there should be no excuses.

Talking of Crufts Agility1st has been working hard behind the scenes launching a new web site which we're very excited about. This enables instructors to manage their learning on line. This gives Steve & I more time to develop new courses and material.

The other bit of exciting news is we've achieved the Kennel Club's Preferred Educational Provider status (PEP). This is a major milestone for us and a step closer for dog agility to be recognised as a sport in the UK.

The Agility1st team will be at Crufts for the four days. Karen & I will be on the stand most days. Dee will be there Sunday too and Steve & Yvonne along with their main arena duties will also be helping out when possible.

I'll also be there with my Team Manager hat on watching the squad perform, which I'm really looking forward to.

We look forward to seeing you there.
