30 Second Goals
This week I want you to spend your 1-minute on Goals; hence the 30-second Goal exercise that follows.
Why are Goals so important?
Top performers think about their goals most of the time. If you haven't articulated your goals they become very hard to achieve.
The more you think about your goals the more likely you are to achieve them... it's the "be careful what you wish for" scenario... your "superconcious" mind achieves the goal for you!
My "no excuse" Goal exercise only requires 30 seconds of your time...
What you need...
- A piece of paper
- A pen
Only 3% of adults write down their goals - so just doing this exercise puts you in the top 3% of the population. It is also important to hand write your goals as this engages your superconscious.
In the next 30 seconds write down the 4 most important Goals you want to achieve in the next year:
- 1 x your most important Career Goal
- 1 x your most important Financial Goal
- 1 x your most important Health Goal
- 1 x your most important Relationship Goal

To really splash out spend an extra 30 seconds on each area and identify 2-3 different goals for Career, Financial, Health and Relationships - that's a 2 minute investment in your future and 10-12 Goals you are more likely to achieve!
