Team Training
It was good to see so many Agility Team GB members at Thames this weekend. We had a good training session Friday evening which again gave us another opportunity to work together on a European style course.
One area we've been focusing on a lot is our individual decision making process, is the quicker line left or right. For some people this is a well-honed skill and the stop watch tells them they're making the right decision first time, most times. For others this is a developing skill.
As the Team Manager it's great to see the team talking amongst themselves, helping each other and discussing ideas about how to approach the courses they're coming up against.
It's also very encouraging to see supporters sat around the ring. It's not often you get a chance to watch some of the top GB handlers training and seeing what makes them so good at what they do.
Thanks very much to Thames DTC for letting use their competition ring on Friday evening, very much appreciated.
