Suffering after a bike ride

I've got a few days holiday to use up over the next couple of months so I took Friday off. It was a glorious day. I treated myself to a long bike ride, without the dogs this time. It's amazing how much you see on the bike whether your off or on road. Little tracks that I must have drove past dozens of times without noticing, beautiful houses tucked back off the road, wild life, deep puddles, mud! I'm looking forward to my next day off, although next time I'll remember to wear my cushioned shorts!
