Competition Season is truely here

Hinkley show lived up to all we've become used to, good weather, lovely setting and good agility... well I would say that I suppose as I was one of the judges. And just to demonstrate I'm not just 'in it to win it' I didn't bring any bling back with my own dogs.

Karen's ankle is on the mend but I think it's going to be a while yet before we see her back in the competition ring with the nearly G7 Torro Laker.

Big shows like Hinkley are good benchmarks for my training. If I do well I can consider I'm on the right lines, if I do not so well I can see what the competition is doing and identify future training requirements.

With that in mind, I'm off out to the field again before it gets dark...
