Ice, ice baby....

I've been away all week but it's the last time this year. I was in Edinburgh earlier in the week where it really did feel like Christmas.

I had a short wait for a train to York and took the opportunity to get some fresh air and a quick walk outside. It's such a lovely city I especially like the architecture and the atmosphere. The picture is of the outdoor ice rink and fun fair with the city in the background.

I really must try to bring Karen up here in 2010 for a weekend break. After all we're always wondering what to do at the weekend.

It's been snowing here in Beverley today along with a freezing cold wind blowing off the North sea. Still home tomorrow - hooray.
