Frost, Freezing Fog and Mud

Last Saturday we had a match against Wallingford club. It was at their venue so we were off up the A34 at 07:00 in the freezing fog. Devo experienced another new venue, and surroundings. He was a really good boy, he is beginning to realise that he can play with his toys anywhere and gets a lot more attention by doing so. UpAndOver did well, Kodi and Flint [handled by Bridgitte] both won classes and our newer members did us proud. However, we lost the match but everyone had a good day.

By Sunday the frost had gone and the mud came back. We decided our dogs needed a good bath, so they were all washed and shampooed, except Devo and GT who were still looking shiny and clean; I don't know how they managed that.

We're back training twice a week now after the Christmas break with a new structure to the groups, a new format to the evening and lots of enthusiasm from everyone - I hope it works!

We're off to Ribble this weekend, the trail to Olympia start here!
